Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know where I can buy women's short salopettes? I am only 5ft tall and although the salopettes do sit on the boots they wrinkle at my knees and make me look even more rediculous! Puzzled

shakers, Welcome to snowHead !

I'm 5ft 2in, so quite understand where you are coming from! This year I've lost a huge amount of weight, so my husband bought me a great pair of Eider skipants from Snow & Rock! Perfect for shorties. Cant wait to use them now on 20th Jan Very Happy

shakers, Welcome to SnowHeads!

I, too, am around 5ft and often find children's sizes fit better overall - TK Maxx has a decent range of kids skiwear (depending which shop you go to). I've just (rather embarassingly Embarassed ) lent my friend's 11 yr old daughter my old one piece (age 12/13!) for her first ski trip. MIght be worth a try snowHead

shakers Welcome to snowHead We could do with more petite individuals on here Laughing
As a fellow vertically challenged person I can sympathise with you.
For many years I have used kids but I have progressed this season to grown up salopettes Laughing
Have a look at Schoffel salopettes (Savona Dynamic ll) leg length 29" and they looked ok with boots on (Im about 5'ish). I got mine recently at Lockwoods, not very cheap but I expect them to last me a while.
geri, After seeing your at the Ski Show I did look for the Eider ones but couldnt find anybody locally that had any rolling eyes

Thanks very much for the prompt replies. I will definitely try some kid's salopettes but I seem to have larger hips than teenage boys!!!!! Not going skiing until Feb so plenty of time to keep looking and if anyone else finds perfect fitting pants please let me know!!

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Success!!!! I have finally found a pair of salopettes that are short length. They are Trespass Halma and available in short or regular length. However, I visited a couple of Trespass shops and the staff weren't aware of short lengths being available. I found them at The skiwear service www.skiwearservice.co.uk (ordered on Sunday evening and delivered Tuesday morning). They are a perfect fit! Very Happy
