Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I took SCGB annual insurance out this year instead of Snowcard. I

I have used Snowcard for the last 5 years but the annual Insurance cost was much higher this year ( No Claims ). The SCGB site offered a reduction of £80 against my snowcard quote so I took the SCGB offer.

I travel on Wednesday 21st and I still have not received my details other than an email confirming my purchase.

Should I not get a nice wallet sized flexi Card !!!!!. I know I can print off the details but I thourght I would have had something through the post as well.

Super Eagle, yes, you should receive a copy of the policy and a card with the contact phone details on it. We always seem to receive ours quite promptly. I would give them a call.

Super Eagle, I have taken out SCGB insurance online and it was clear that all documentation was to be downloaded not recevied through the post. If you book by telephone then they would post the paperwork. I assume that the reason they offer a further 5% reduction if you book on line is because they save on printing and postage

Super Eagle, I have had SCGB insurance online for 3 years, and all the documentation is 'download and print yourself' only. No plastic cards or gimmicks, either. Nevertheless it is a real policy !
