Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You can tell a young child to 'get over it'; they may not take much notice, 'though. If you are worried that jet lag will be a serious problem for you, that must be factored in. My experience is that coming back here from Skiing in Canada or USA, after a couple of days of having to drag oneself out of bed to an even greater extent than normal, we're back to normal. When we've come back in the kids' school hols so that they haven't had to get up, they and the OL's sleep patterns have remained disrupted until the end of the school hols, when they have had to get up.

We've had 8 skiing hols in N.America with our kids from age 4 (just) to age 11 and numerous other long trips, jet lag has never been a significant problem for them. I've found it hard coming back directly from Japan and flying from S.Africa to Australia and NZ to Chile, but the OL and the nippers were fine (annoyingly), just a few days disrupted sleep.

Got back to Paris at 5.50am yesterday (from Burlington then JFK). Took the 7.30am flight to Strasbourg. Picked up the rental car, and drove to the office. Took a half hour lunch at 1, left at 6pm. I was tired at the end of the day, but nothing too bad.
