Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

i just had the best afternoon's riding since urm let me see?>?????? last winter Very Happy rolling eyes

fresh pow everywhere lots of fresh tracks to be had. some of the piste is a bit hard in places and a bit icy in places but the rest is nice.

the trees were amazing, avoid trees in the sun as its like mush under there but still fun.

Best run of the day was the run to base under one of the chair lifts and next to the half pipe, it was so hard to choose where to get my fresh line!

didn't take many pics but have some (i go to ride not take pics!) am a bit bogged down with hats to make but as soon as i've done them i'll post some pici's!

Hi, snowangel. or any others nearby, I wondered what the conditions are like for us coming out to Montgenevre at the week-end? Did any fresh snow fall there or did it all fall on the Cucumelle?

Just back from a great week in Montegenevre. Most of the runs and lifts open although starting to suffer on the south facing slopes.

Great days out to Clavier, Sestriere, and Sauze D'Oulx. The Colletto Verde was a bit patchy and icy, so went by bus to Sestriere !!

Really enjoyed it and would recommend it.
