Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

St Anton

Poster: A snowHead
Booked for St Anton on 10th March.Staying Chalet Arlhof with Inghams. Described as being up the hill above the town. This suggest might be a way from the lifts. Anyone stayed in this chalet? How easy is St Anton to get around -are there good ski buses?

Is a trip to Lech and Zurs on the ski bus a must.

Thanks

dan100, from my recollection of staying in Lech and St Anton about 100 years ago, I wouldn't say that a visit to Lech is a must, but I imagine that we'll do the trip when we're staying in St Anton in Feb, just for a change of scene.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I was in St Anton last season, and went and did the Lech/Zurs circuit, definately worth it if you can. Head for Rendle if you get snow, you can either get the ski bus which seems pretty good, or theres a pully system there now. Cool place. . . . Toofy Grin

I would guess you will be in Oberdorf above the town I have stayed up in that area you should be able to ski out of there down to the lifts. There will be a bus stop nearby and a restricted evening bus operates. It is an easy walk to town or (sit on bin bag and slide down). Near to Moosevert bar for Apres or underground on the piste. we shared a taxi back up when we stayed up in that area
st Anton website is one of the best if not the best, and contains an interactive street map
