I've been to Verbier before and it was great but someone has suggested that a few resorts in Austria have a much better nightlife and not as pricey.
Does anyone have any opinions and a recommendation for a resort?

Depends what you are looking for. Verb is unbeatable, this side of the pond, for quality and quantity of terrain (particularly off piste) but St Anton comes close - unfortunately u can not really do StA on a budget.
If apres is more important then Ischgl, StA and Saalbach are all party towns.

It all depends on how old you are, but if you want great night life, drinks discounts and lots of nice ladies, try the universities chamionship week. It's called a championship, but the racing comes a long way down the list of priorities!

If you are into pikey nitelife, then St Anton is ideal. Great skiing, on a par with Verbier.

I've done a few lads' ski weeks now. Probably the most fun we have had was Les Deux Alpes.
Generally, you can find your fun wherever you go. We had a great time in Obergurgl, restricted to just two bars. One of these was closed for half the week, but we probably spent more time drinking there than anywhere else we've been.

Yeah, Kitzbhuel is your place... enjoy it... Verbier is rubbish and all this snow we have here isn't worth skiing on...
