Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wouldn't like it now - much too cold - too much snow - too many Canadians saying "excuse me".

FenlandSkier, it rained in late January (2005) I think, Robbie and stuarth might remember better than me. We were there mid-March and there had been very little snow all winter. However, our arrival heralded the usual heavy snowfall, so the season was saved. There was even talk of the resort having to close at one point. But I think it was just a vicious rumour. Thread on it somewhere, but I can't be @rsed to find it.

PhillipStanton, Laughing love the vid, it made me laugh the first time round too! Helen Beaumont, yes, you're right it rained from mid to end January 2005. Then the snow arrived in mid March at the same time as us (phew!) and all was good. Very Happy

Yes, that Jan was appaling, well i remember trying to ski, and in the end just resorting to "creek skiing" in the river beds appearing in the middle of the runs for the fun of it. Followed by long afternoons in the GLC drying out. Ho hum, such is life!
