Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon Rush no10 for men ??

Hi All,

Just joined this forum and have a question, I am returning to the world of Skiing after many years (15 I think !!) as I moved to Madrid and we have some resorts in the mountains north of the city..

When I was younger I was comfortable on Red slopes and fairly happy on most blacks too, I went for the first time again in February and was back on the reds in no time, so I thought that’s it , I want to take this up again !!

I went looking for Skis this weekend and after many many stores looking at different makes/models I ended up in a very helpful ski store (the team of people working there, really did seem knowledgeable) and they sold me a pair of Salamon Rush no10s (2006 model as 40% discount). They all stated how great a Ski it is and that I would not be disappointed. When I returned home, I decided to look them up, and to my surprise learnt that they are designed for women.

I returned to the store to question them, and they agreed, that formally they are designed for women, but last year they sold more of this model to men than to women, and most came back and stated how happy they were ! And also a couple of the guys who worked there used them and loved them, They are more than happy to change them for me, but my question is, is it worth changing them ?? I am no professional, just want to Ski for the fun of it and improve my skills at my own pace, and I do have a decent pair of Skis and at what seems a good price !!

Any thoughts or comments are most welcome !

Thanks,

Adam

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

If the boots fit, keep them.

99.9% of the skiers on the slopes won't know or care what boots you're wearing. Those that do, you probably wouldn't want to associate yourself with them anyway.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Tomsk, that's my thoughts too. (I am referring to Salomon Rush Skis and not boots just in case that changes your view )
