Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
I'm posting for a friend who is looking to buy a Burton Clash around 155. I am a skier and have bought skis from Sport Conrad in germany for around 3100 less than they are on sale in the UK and less then they are on ebay for. I have had a look at Sport Conrad but they don't have Snowboards, has anyone bought one cheaper from europe. My friend doesn't have internet access abd I don't really know where to start looking for Snowboarding stuff.
thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've just bought one for my girlfriend off this ebay site – http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZwintersportsQ5fcom - abnd the board she's got back looks sound as a pound, even to my mate who's done a fair bit of boarding in the past.

I'd just look on ebay to see what's on offer, but just browse through the 'Buy It Now' stuff, as they are usually shops selling through ebay rather than individuals.

I stumbled across www.thehouse.com and they have some cracking prices. It's an American site and given the current exchange rate, things work out nicely.....even with the $88 postage Very Happy

Check out www.blue-tomato.at/WelcomeAction.bto - German based but look to have some decent deals, especially if you don't mind last season's boards. Not sure how much postage will be mind..!
