Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

sadly am sat in front of my desktop in London but a contact in resort has told me that it is currently snowing (about 5cm this morning) - a danger that the links to Flaine may be temporarily closed but this is re wind rather than too much snow!!!!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yeah, I saw a report that suggested windy blizzards this weekend which is obviously better than nothing but far from ideal! Sad

Just got back from Morillon , there is so little snow it is scary, a lot of the resort runs are closed and the links are verging on dangerous they are that icy. We found some decent snow in Flaine on the Grand Plateries 2500m but the lower you got the worse it got. The bottom of the blue into Flaine is sheet ice / mud. The good news is there was a dump yesterday of about 4 /6inches it made the resort runs nice but we couldnt get any higher due to cloud and fog.
The whole Grand Massif area is desperate for snow - the dump yesterday will only ease things for days. There are a lot of runs that wont open this year. You'll find decent snow up high but off piste is lethal. Take care coming down the mountain in to resorts as the ice is as bad as ive known it amnd my brand new crossfires are looking a bit sorry for themselves ! Never mind Meribel in 2.5 weeks !!! Toofy Grin. If you're going out have a great time
