Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any Snowboarders eagerly awaiting the new season in Korea?!?

Hi All,

This is my first post! (hmm... random)

Anyway I'm looking for fellow boarders (especially peeps who are living in S.K).

I'm absolutely falling over myself (pardon the pun) to get back on a board after a fraggin fantastic season in Lebanon. BTW Faraya-mzaar in the Leb is a hell of a lot of fun Very Happy .. it's not exactly world class but it kept me going back every other weekend while I was working in Beirut. I really recommend trying it out if you're working or on a short holiday to the Middle East.

Ok, sorry a little off topic there.. anyway my real question is does anyone know when any of the resorts open in Korea this season (I know I could phone but my Korean ain't that hot!). I've checked out web-sites and some are saying November...

I was hoping I'd run into a few boarders online and we could keep this thread alive until one of us hears a resort has opened, perhaps even meet up to blitz the slopes sometime. From personal experience I can tell you Yeongpyong is a great fun, perks include a 5km run plus a board park & half-pipe.

Enjoy the snow wherever you are! snowHead

jorquay, welcome to snowHeads! snowHead

I could be wrong here, but I think you are the only snowHead in Korea! So it may be more a case of you helping us rather than vice versa Toofy Grin

Muju, Pyeongchang and Yeongpyong are all likely to be open by early Dec, as far as I know. It is starting to get a bit chilly in Seoul, so Winter is not far away. Interestingly, many South Korean skiers want North Korea to open up so they can get access to their bigger hills and longer season!
