Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all

As you've probably noticed I am brand new here so be nice to me! Madeye-Smiley Just been thinking I would really love to do a long weekend in December somewhere in Europe (weekends falling 2nd and 3rd, 9th and 10th, 16th and 17th plus either the Monday after or Friday before) before I go for a proper 1 week trip in January.

I know it's leaving it reaaaaally late but would be ideal to go with 1 or 2 people to save on accomodation costs. Myself I'm a 26 year old guy from London, skied for 3 years, can do all red runs and have got down some pretty hairy blacks - not an off-pister really. Anyone interested? Am more than willing to give most resorts a go, though think choice would be limited to the higher ones....

I'm off for a long weekend 14-18th December, but it's a bit further afield - Stowe, VT.
You may be lucky and find others who will be going a bit closer to home.

It's a pity you didn't join the site a couple of weeks ago as about 45 of us are meeting up tomorrow at Les 2 Alpes for a long weekend. You would have been most welcome to join us.

I am sure that something will crop up in December that will suit you though snowHead ...

It is horrendously expensive to ski a weekend, flights, accom, lift pass, food....it's always 110% worth it...until you get the bank statements at the end of the month!

nondescript, a friend and i are planning a short 2 day ski trip with using these flights you are welcome to join us if you wish. We'll decide nearer the time where to ski depending on snow but will probably end up in Chamonix if snow is ok.....Will hire a car at Geneva and drive as far as needed to find some snow.

We are two married blokes (not to each other!) 33 and 28ish both holiday skiers of reasonable standard, happy on reds and some blacks
