Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

snowboard instruction Argentiere?

I'm a skier rather than a boarder, but I'm planning to take my son to Argentiere over new year. He has done some boarding and keen to learn more, so looking to get some lessons in the morning while I play on my planks, then meet up in the afternoons. Any recommendations beyond ESF? Ideally based around Grand Montets area.

The living legend that that is Neil McNab lives in Argentière, however I think he concentrates on back country courses rather than lessons now-a-days! However he obviously knows a lot of people (and is a nice down to Earth bloke) so if you are struggling to find an instructor he may have some details if you email him, seems a bit cheeky but he has helped alot of people onto the instructing/pro ladder so you never know:

yeah mcnabb is possibly going to be a bit specialised, and will want him all day, not just in the morning. You could try kieran at bluemile sports. Good coach, british guy as well so no language problem Smile
