Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Serre Chevalier.

I have a photo on the pinboard above my desk, it shows me riding away from the cable car & just below the ridge are low clouds and a group of skiers silhouetted against the sky. Every time I look at it I want to be there.

Serre Che is not the perfect resort by any means, every time I've been there it's rained & there are too many drag lifts. But I've had some of my most memorable powder days there & I just love the place.

It's got character, which is generally lacking in French resorts.

Hopefully I'll get there at some point this season.

You should correct that state of affairs fairly promptly. It's still a couple of months until things get going again; only drink will see you through that time...

Another one for Serre Chevalier. My first ski holiday was there, I worked my first season there and have so many great memories of the place. I would never whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone but I just love it. Nowhere else really comes close for me.

Helen Beaumont, I think you are right about Cucumelle the chair seems to be a four man with no foot rests.
That might be the dome du Monetier in the far top right of the picture.

I get a red X Helen, if you remove the "?imgmax=512"from the link it should work (I'm having fun with Picasa web links as well).

That's what caught me out with the pic I posted as well, there's not much point Picasa putting a direct link from the photos on your desktop to publish to the web if the real URL is going to be so tricky to decode and manage.
