Frosty, if you weren't running people over I think it was my husband with our bright blue Quinny Zapp! Sorry to anyone he 'accidentally' clipped in the ankles! As for the leaky roof, I was looking at some of those cattrack thingies for shoes when there was a downpour on the Trespass stand. I guess it was a good way of showing whether their gear was waterproof or not!

Frosty, those hot dogs were awesome, weren't they!!!
I can't believe you tried all 3 in one day though. I had to pace myself to one a day, and still felt piggy!

Wear The Fox Hat,

CEM, I would expect they will go to the people they paid, and then let them deal with it.

You know it makes sense.

Act of God therefore no claim! Unless you can prove negligence or prove it was foreseeable etc etc, the only ones making money will be the Lawyers and as I recall it has happened before there I bet the owners/organisers have got it covered so it cost them nothing!

boredsurfin, Act of God? Surely the problem was that the roof was leaking - it's not God's responsibility to maintain the roof of the Olympia, or to ensure that it is fit for purpose.

Wear The Fox Hat, Act of God in as much as the strength of the rainfall could not be predicted at that moment in time! But as I said above I've been there before when the roof has leaked, so I guess they have got a good defence and the Lawyers will be the only winners

I agree with you,the roof obviously wasn't fit for purpose.
We were in the stand next to Trespass when the rain started pouring in & I would definately claim if I had one of the stands affected by it.

CEM, Talking to one of the stand guys, he's expecting compensation to cover cost only not selling price of goods. Thats a lot of lost profit.
