I'm guessing most snowboarders dont have much exoerience at skiing backwards.

Nickski, i can almost garuntee you that in a race, flat out down the luc here he'd beet you. Some up his back bottom skier was claiming exactly the same thing last year.

yep the snowboarder with the skier just behind him, but never the less behind him!!!

My 11 year old would tear up most skiers, i've boarded for years and he has to have a walkie talkie in his pocket so we can give him a time of arrival at the bottom  Usually 10 minutes is his average wait.

snowangel., you are probably right about your hubby. But mista, went fishing so I was trying to see if one of the fish could get a bite back first.
Interesting point. If you had a skier and a boarder set off at the same point etc. and just straight line it, who would go fastest. I think I'll ask that question in the Piste section.
