Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hoppo, kitchen porter?

Someoni, you might also like to visit Natives where a lot of season workers hang out. If you have a search on their forum or ask I'm sure you'll find people who have worked for Crystal.

I skied in Alpy D for a week - really enjoyed it and a nice town. Good luck and hope you enjoy snowHead

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Someoni, You'll have a great winter in ADH. Which hotel are you the night porter for? If you are on KP duties as well my advise to you would be to take some marigolds! The sking is great and if you are working mainly in the evenings you should have plenty of moutain time. There are also some great bars for nights out and with lots of Crystal workers based in the resort you will meet loads of people very easily. Not long to go now....

katski, I believe that Crystal's budgets may well just about stretch to rubber gloves for the kitchen.

My first ski holiday was in a crystal chalet and the budget was a topic of discussion.

PS They let men in kitchens and Sainburys these days too.

DB, Someoni will be working in a hotel, which means his budget will actually be managed rather than kept in a jar in small coinage by some kid just out of school. Twisted Evil (Sorry - irritating-amateurish-chalets-grrr rant.)

Ooo dear I seem to have inadvertently hit a raw nerve. Hadn't really thought about the budget side of things....was thinking more along the lines of just make sure you use them! Otherwise with the cold weather you'll end up with cracked and very sore fingers rather quickly and it's not fun. Also it's not very manly (I'm assuming you are male if you are a night porter as well but please correct me if I'm wrong) but get some hand cream as well Very Happy
