Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon 07 Shop Practices Manual?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
For last season I managed to download the Salomon 06 shop practices manual in pdf format, with lots of useful information about bindings, boots, maintenance etc.

I don't remember where I downloaded it, but does anyone know if the new season's manual is available yet and, if so, where I can find it. Did any shopkeepers etc receive it yet?

Thanks!

skibomb, Last year I could access the Sallie tech site: ( http://expert.salomon-sports.com . They give you the username & password when you do one of their techy courses. They've changed the username & password required for this year rolling eyes

If you go to www.salomoncertification.com/download.jsp you can download it. It is a ZIP of a pdf file.

slikedges, did you look inside it? It's instructions for running a ski shop, it's like a Haynes manual! Laughing

 snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

Please note that that downloadable manual is specifically for the North American continent, and does not contain relevant information to the UK/Europe market, for example, my mardcopy contains the DIN release chart for FRANCE, which the pdf does not.

A little knowledge and all that.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

jtr, Thanks!

slikedges, The Salomon website for this season seems to be less informative than last season's, particularly when it comes to some technical specs etc. This guide has all the details.

veeeight, Good point. Ever seen European version of this pdf?

Hoppo, I've just briefly skimmed it, seems pretty similar to my 2005-6 Salomon Technical Manual, not sure if anything fundamental has changed Madeye-Smiley

skibomb, guess its main use is to stay up to date with latest gear Very Happy
