Poster: A snowHead
|
I’m going to be booking a holiday to Baqueira in March 2007. Before we choose where to stay I’d like to know how far (on foot) Tanau is from the main part of town. Also has anyone used the heliski company, if so what were they like and have you got contact details?
Any comments would be appreciated.

I've been to Baqueira but stayed in the Chalet run by Ski miquel which was around 200 metres from the lifts.

I stayed in Tanau a couple of years ago and as far as I remember it´s quite far to walk to Baqueira, and think nobody does it.

Thanks for all the info and the welcome, think I've got the picture regarding location.
Have any of you used a company Ski Class? Amongst other things, they say they organise Heliskiing.

To get the center of baqueira from the Tanau you'll need to pick the car and of couse for the rest of the Val d'Aran where the most of the nightlife goes in towns like Salardú or Vielha.
About Heliskiing you have two Companies; Heliswiss: 973 645 797 http://heliswiss.es/0cat.htm and Taf: 973 642 416 http://www.tafhelicopters.es/ but I'm not sure if they will operate next season.
