Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There have been a few Vegas dome proposals already that have come to nothing and about 20 Propsals for snowdomes in the US over the past decade, all of which have foundered. This one seems to hve serious backing from that news story, although a lot of the previous ones have also, but never happened. Most of the Vegas ones are because its Vegas, the proximity of nearby real slopes isn't an issue! The one that seems most likely to open first is Xanadu in New Jersey (www.meadowlandsxanadu.com) which has been under construction for 18 months and is heading for a $2 billion price tag. They've signed British company Acer Snowmec who do our Xscapes and Ski Dubai plus Madrid Xanadu to make the snow and a Canadian company is building the metal for the slope structure. The Mills Cortporation building it have done an ENRON and are about bust but are just tying up a $500m investment to keep it going. There are about 60 snowdomes in 23 countries now so its a bit odd the US still don't have one.
