Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

That's right, the big development this autumn is a week of national sliding rather than just a day. Think of it like a 7-day liftpass for the price of a day. Or Christmas and New Year rolled into one.

Check out the offers on offer and let's agree on a strategy.

David Goldsmith, I like the slogan "Give snow a go". The offers are no good to me and I have no idea what you mean about the strategy bit, care to expand ?

Not really, I'm going lean and mean for national sports weeks. This is about distracting Britain from the national sport of typing.

The 'events' or offers seem to not amount to very much. The best would be Crystal's free Learn to Ski package - although I don't know if a newbie would ever get to hear about it. Seems to me like another of those marketing strategies. Sign up here, offer a discount and we'll promote your business. I couldn't actually spot any events.

Or am I just being cynical? wink Very Happy

cathy, given that the Crystal offer is assuming you pay full price for low season weeks that are bound to be heavily discounted later, I'd say you're not cynical enough wink

brian, you're right! I hadn't actually looked in detail at their offer - and its only by booking at a certain few hotels as well!

Joking and mockery apart, I think the 2-for-1 deal on rollerskiing in Hyde Park looks interesting and worthwhile.

Interestingly, I see that rollerski.co.uk also use Richmond Park. Has anyone considered the avalanche risk of rollerskiing in Richmond Park?
