Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone going to Jackson Hole this season

It's dawned on me that I am not getting any younger, and I should get on to do those things that are feasible, and I want to do. One of which is going to Jackson Hole. I've got a feeling I could be able to persuade my usual skiing buddy.

But I wondered who else might be going. Be nice to have a beer out there with other snowheads - if I go.

achilles, I'm holding off returning there for a couple of years (until the new tram is in)

...but if you want to come to Stowe, Aspen or Tahoe, let me know!

Wear The Fox Hat, I could be persuaded! I understand your point about the new tram. Because of my age, and domestic considerations, I think time may be running out for me taking a 2-week skiing break. So I may yet go, anyway.

achilles, even w/o the tram you can still do virtually all of the ski area so I wouldn'y let that put you off too much. And it is one of the places you want to go to once in your life. If you do go, try and do a day at Grand Targhee. One of the most fun days skiing of my life.
