Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Worldwide Resort Video Site

Hey check this website out I found:

www.snow.tv

It has video episodes of around 75 resorts across Europe, Japan, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

It looks like it is still being developed but I was stuck on it for hours checking out heaps of different resorts. It has helped tie me over for what has been a really bad Australian ski season ..... Sad

The videos in general are good, but the crappy flash site drives me crazy! Also, all the videos i have seen seem to focus generally on the off-piste (which is fine) but i would like to see some of the slopes aswell as i am not into off-piste! (yet).

oasis13, I agree there is a tendency for all skiing videos to concentrate on powder and off piste skiing. A film of a skier in the middle of a huge powder slope with no visual reference to the location could have been filmed anywhere and is a film of the skier, not the location. Beginners are not really catered for. snowHead

oasis13, I've just watched the Saas Fee video and it covers many things, skiing and non-skiing. Although I've not visited Saas Fee in the winter I thought this video gave a pretty good overview of the resort.
