Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tired of Summer already?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi everyone,

Is it just me, or does the arrival of summer feel like a bit of a letdown? I’m already counting the days until next season.

I’m a solo developer (and a total ski junkie from Quebec). I’ve spent my winter in the tight glades of Valinouët, and I got tired of a few things that I’m sure you’ve experienced too:

- Facebook Group Chaos: Your great posts get lost in an algorithm 5 minutes after you post them.

- Expensive Trackers: Being asked to pay a fortune in monthly subscriptions just to see your stats.

- Hardware Overload: Wanting the precision of something like Carv but without having to buy extra gear or stick sensors in your boots.

- I decided to build the solution myself.

I’ve launched Ski Coach Mastery, and I’d love for this community to check it out. Here’s the deal:

- mIRSki Module: For those of you (like me) who are nostalgic for the legendary 1995 mIRC aesthetic, I built a dedicated chat module. No algorithms, no "suggested posts." You can create your own channel, take control (@), and actually talk with people who share your passion.

- Pro Tracking for Free: I’m using advanced sensor fusion to track your performance. It’s built for the woods and the backcountry, not just groomed runs.

Support a Passion Project: I'm not a big corporation. I'm just a guy who can’t sleep the night before a ski day because I’m too excited. I build tools I actually want to use.

If you’re a purist, you can find it on APKPure (still waiting after apkpure for the mIRSki update....) , and it's also available on the Play Store.

Let’s keep the spirit of winter alive during the "long" summer months. See you on the channels!

Hi Ken. An interesting post. It starts well, but then you lose me at a load of gobbledygook I personally don’t understand.

Go skiing-no electronics!

haha @Ski Shagger, , sorry , it's my Geek side, I'm probably sure that when you skiing, you got your phone in your pocket right? in case of emergency? so, with my app, the phone is in your pocket BUT it track your performance, I mean, your speed , the angle of inclination and more... and at the bottom, or in the chairlift, you can check it, --- ) if you want. Second, for the mirski, because me , and I ski alone, I often look for friends Smile to ski with, and I admit that on Facebook, I often get ghosted, or the day I go skiing, no news. So with Mirski, you arrive on the mountain, you check if there is a mountain channel, and you write something like: are there any crinkers to hit run #6? And if someone is connected to the channel, they respond immediately: yep me, I'm not far from the chairlift with the yellow toque, and boom! someone to ride with you.

@holidayloverxx, haha. yeah..... It's stronger than us... it's in our genes to apologize for everything! You hit someone without meaning to while walking, and we both turn around and apologize! Wink, And btw , the founder of snowheads could create a new channel named snowhead there and keep the ownership (@) on the module mIRSki, and we can use the same nickname from here, and talk directly in live (chatting) to each others when needed, and you could find cool people with the same passion around your place and be ready to ride next winter! could be cool no? Maybe it's only me, but I'm nostalgic of the old mIRC chat of 1995! Cool

Whilst I wish you good luck with this, I have scarcely understood a word you have written; I have not much idea even what the offering is.

CARV has a simple, pronounceable, name and a simple proposition: every run is given a mark out of 200. If I were you I’d be looking to make this all clearer!
