Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi- best bet is to keep searching on eBay for boots and bindings. I'd suggest Rottefella Freerides if possible and basically any NTN boot in your size. Get the plastic not metal plate Freerides (th emetal are the v1 which is now very old). Probably best to avoid mejios to start with on account of breakages to spring boxes etc. OutlawXs good- but can also break.
For skis- ideally just use one of your your current alpine skis / something you know. To start with something on the softer side rather than piste specific. Get mounted at usual alpine point- or possibly a couple of cm back. With Freerides you can adjust anyway (if you get round to it).
However- I see that I have assumed (perhaps completly incorrectly) that you are a tele novice. If so I humbly apologise. But advice re eBay stands! I have bought and sold loads of tele gear on eBay. You might also find some of the rather garish green and yellow freerides online for cheap.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Wot @Ed123 said. You will need Large bindings. Freerides are easier to find, Outlaw-X ski better. If you come across an Outlaw (without the -X) avoid as 22D can't repair them anymore.
