Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any reviews of this company?

I can see terrible reviews on here up until 2021 but then nothing and I wonder if they’ve revamped/been taken over as positive recent reviews on trust pilot.

Has anyone used them in last few years?

I’ve done a few trips with AE over the years but only up to 2020 and they were all ok. Reasonably good chalets in reasonably good positions, with reasonably decent food and staff. That said, I never paid full prices.

We went to La Plagne with AE in the dreaded 2020 season, news of Covid was beginning to fill the news as we were there.

Other than that dark cloud the chalet, catering, staff etc were top notch. Couldn't really fault them.

Daughter worked for them last year. They are lower end on the budget scale but their guests were generally really happy. Though quite basic, food was good and plentiful and wine pretty free flowing. All the chalets in La Plagne were really nice and close to the slopes and the ones we saw were all in good condition etc. Had a nosey around one of them and the rooms looked great with good sized sitting/dining room.

The staff get paid really badly but all work super hard so appreciate a nice tip at the end!
