We are hoping to book a last minute trip from the 4th April. Two adults, two teens and one age 11. They are all confident skiers, I will need somewhere with plenty of blues.
Where would be a good shout given current snow conditions and opening of links etc.
thank you!

@Galla2025, You'll get a million different replies, can you narrow down a bit, based on:
- Mode of travel - driving or flying
- Hotel, self catering, chalet
- Preferred country
Personally I'd say Les Arcs - 1800 or Vallandry, loads of blues, loads of little cut through the trees to keep kids entertained

@Galla2025, Assuming you'd go Lyon or Grenoble then I don't think you will go wrong with one of the big resorts - 3 Valleys, of which La Tania is a part, or Paradski (Les Arcs/La Plagne).
May be worth having a look at travel agents and see what deals are available, or if you're more DIY I'd start with looking for flights and take it from there. Pretty much all the resorts will have links to booking agents for apartments on their site.

@Galla2025, are you sure it’s worth self catering??’ I’m not sure it would work out as such good value as a late booking catered chalet deal. Or is there a preference for S/C for other reasons?

We're heading to Les Arcs that week with similar ages and needs. Les Arcs always fits our brief and this will be our 3rd Easter visit there. La Plagne would also suit.
Both are about a 3 hour transfer from Geneva.
Echo the recommendation for Sunweb, amd the one for last minute catered chalet deals.

If you're interested in half board, it would be hard to beat the Belambra Aguille Rouge in Arc 2000.

Aosta has by far the best snow conditions.
Gressoney is absolutely buried under snow. In Staffal (highest village of the valley), last week they were using draglines to shovel the snow into the riverbed.
They didnt know where to leave it. Another 1.5 meter, on top of over a meter. And 2 meters fresh on the upper mountain.
Perfectly maintained slopes, 180 km over 3 valleys. The ultimate dream for a red-piste skier.
And 1100 vertical meters standard top-to-bottom, which is 50% more than your average resort. In Alagna, even 1800 vertical, without interruption. Unless you want to give rest to your legs.
Cost of food and drinks on the slopes, 40% lower than France, and still much better quality.

We're in the same position but with a 6 and 9 year old that haven't skied before. Going somewhere 3, 4 or 5 April, budget of £5k all in. Looking at catered in Morzine but put off by needing to get the prodains up to Avoriaz every morning as well as the weather getting warm next week.

Flying over. What is being offered in Morzine for catered is comfortably under that all in (i.e. flights booked separately, transfers, lift passes, lessons)

We ended up finding some good flights to Innsbruk. Going to hire a car and drive to Livigno.
Now trying to figure out the ski maps and routes that I will be able to do
