I had a mate (through cycling) who used to do that. He had some impressive burn scars on his arm and shoulder from the friction of sliding down the hill at +100mph

Many years ago in Tignes (Val Claret), a tour company organised a "tourist" version of speed skiing. Using "speed" skis you where clocked for speed, two friends did it, one clocking 72MPH, faster than his Fiat Panda could travel 
The advice they where given was, at the end, stand up slowly or else. The 72MPH lad (Sam) started higher than the "official" start point.

I have a mate competing in this. Super nice guy. Blows me away that it doesn’t get more notice taken of it as a sport. I think he 3d prints the fairings for his suit after refinement in a wind tunnel.

@endoman, Did you try selecting "Speed skiing" from the dropdown menu that has "All disciplines" by default?
The male results from the WJC that was during the week are there but the senior results from today are not up yet.
