 Poster: A snowHead

Hoodies are my casual go to item of clothing. My current crop are starting to get a little long in the tooth, so thought it might be nice to get myself a ski themed hoodie. However, despite browsing in shops and the vast swathes of shops on the internets, I can’t find a fun/interesting hoodie. Pretty much everything I can find is plain hoodies with nothing but the company branding on it. I don’t seem to be able to find anything with a fun ski motif on it or a nice picture (but still needs to be reasonably presentable, so can’t be crazy colours!). Are we in a boring clothing phase, or am I just rubbish at searching? Can anyone suggest any websites where I might be able to find some fun ski themed hoodies?

The issue I find with the likes of Temu is the quality is often awful. There’s a few options on Etsy, but again the issue is you just don’t know what you’re going to get quality wise.

This might sound snobby, but most ski themed clothing I see that isn't from any of the typical outdoor/ski wear brands tends to look a bit naff/tacky.
St Barth do some fun designs but they're quite expensive for something that's a fairly novelty item (bordering on tacky). If I were to buy anything ski-casual, I'd probably look at something from Dale of Norway - and these don't tend to have a ski theme logo as such. Both these are more knitwear than hoodies.

I'm convinced that tartiflette is made from the leftovers from last night's raclette: no one could possibly eat close to half of the reblochon that you get with a raclette for four. All that leftover cheese has to go somewhere: hence, tartiflette.
Potato-based? Yes, but it's the reblochon that matters.

TGR would be a good shout, unfortunately maybe not in the current climate.

I take it you haven't skied in France much then.
It's pretty much a staple of French alpine cuisine.

Yeah we once left most of our half a wheel and the kitchen assured us it wouldn’t go to waste! It’s good it’s repurposed, it’s not like it’s scraped off someone’s plate!
Can’t really help with fun hoodies. Boys have a few North Face with designs or also resort names is quite a nice one if you want to start building a collection.

Someone came on here a year or two ago saying they wanted to print fun designs for ski wear. I can’t remember what happened. I remember opinions were given to designs online but I wonder if any were actually produced.

It's horses for courses I suppose; one person may like cheesy slogan-based stuff, the next may want something low-key, with simple branding. I love looking like Widow Twanky, my kids hate it
It's bit like those (IMO) awful hoodies with a wolf howling at the moon.... they're the worst but there's clearly a market, as I see them fairly regularly.
Redbubble is probably the place for possibly an original design. Temu is all Ai slop but it's cheap and might work.
What kind of stuff do you currently wear, any photos? Might help in the search
