Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

SOS ski clothing rental in Morzine?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all, my daughter and her friend flew out from Luton to GVA today but one of their bags didn't show up on arrival into Geneva (looks like it may have been picked up by mistake by someone else) so subsequently one of them has none of her ski clothes (or anything very much) and the other has just discovered that the zip on her ski jacket has broken so between them it's not a great start. Long shot but does anyone know anywhere that they could borrow/hire Ski wear in Morzine at all as they don't really want to buy stuff (particularly my daughter with the broken zip as she could get that repaired easily back home and her jacket isn't old and is very nice). Any ideas/recommendations/thoughts would be massively appreciated. Thanks.

Why wouldn’t you buy as the airline is likely on the hook for the expense if not your travel insurance ?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There is a brilliant second hand shop on Rue du Bourg called Montagne Verte. Think its open until 7pm tonight according to google.

You can also get good basics in Big Carrefour on the way to St Jean.

@bumble66, when i first read the thread title, i thought you were determined to find a shop that rented out specific S.O.S (Swedish skiwear manufacturer) ski clothing Embarassed Embarassed

took me back to the early 90's when i bought my first ever ski jacket, it was a heavily discounted S.O.S one, i absolutely loved it, went on to buy one of their scandi fisherman type ski jumpers a few years later.

back to topic, hope they manage to get some replacement clobber ASAP
