Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

FOR SALE: Scott Patrol (electronic) airbag backpack, BRAND NEW

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
As above, I have a Scott Patrol 30 litre airbag backpack, full kit with the Alpride E1 system, it's electronic and runs off supercapacitors so completely fine to fly with and won't loose charge in the cold etc. Bought new in April 2025 and unused, it's not in the packaging but still has the tags on. Only reason for sale is that it's not hydration bladder compatible which is a bit of an essential for me. Cheapest I have seen them for sale is £650 so I think £575 is a reasonable expectation. Can be collected from Hastings, I'm willing to drop off in Hastings or Rother, I also regularly work in and around Surrey Hills so could arrange a meet there, alternatively I'll post and split the cost with the buyer. I've got some photos but I don't know where to upload them for hosting so PM me your email and I can't send them.

If I get the asking price I will of course pop something in the Snowheads kitty.

Not advertised elsewhere at the moment but I will probably put it on eBay at some point.

Good grief, Hastings to Surrey Hills is a bit of a commute.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It's a long story, one of our main clients has a big national portfolio of properties, of which we looked after a selection in East Sussex and the adjoining bit of Kent, a couple of years ago they decided to group all their properties into larger areas and have all their contractors bid for whole areas, they split the properties we were looking after into Kent and Sussex (east of the A22) and Surrey and East Sussex (West of the A22,) we bid for both and won the latter, it's actually worked out OK- it also means that once I'm done for the day in the summer I can get a couple of laps on the bike in at Peaslake before heading home!

Now you're talking! Aren't the rides around Peaslake/Holmbury/etc just the best ever? Cool

Certainly the best without making the journey to Wales- and particularly at this time of year when everywhere else in striking distance is thigh deep mud or lethal slippery chalk!
