Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Apologies if this has been posted before (I did search but the link didn’t appear).
Anyone else enjoy perusing the planned ski lifts on skiresortinfo ?

My favourite ones in the dolomiti superski are
Furness-Seceda due 2027 , a 32p tricable gondola carrying 2360 people per hour which replaces the 62 person reversible cable car (800 people per hour).

Always a wait here after skiing down the James Bond run.
Costabella in selva due 2026. 10 person chair to replace the 4 man chair. This is a sella ronda link and although I’ve never waited much here - I guess it must get busy at peak times.

Piz Sorega (bubble from San Cassiano ). An upgrade from 8 to 10 people per bubble. An increase from 3000 to 4300 people per hour and a minute less transit time. Often a queue here with general traffic plus returning crowds from hidden valley.

There is also mention of a new laguzoi lift ? But struggling to find any evidence elsewhere . Presumably to replace the ancient cable car…

Sadly no mention yet of a replacement for the Campolongo - Bec de Roces (Quad) which is often a scrum (and an uphill queue to add to the fun)
Have a look and post your most anticipated lifts !
