 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,
Is there a series of podcasts (e.g. a podcast per resort) about the more populat ski resorts?
Covering the usual questions - transfers, closest airports, accomodation, eating out, apres, hire, ledsons, best slopes. Off piste etc etc?
Or would these go out of date as soon as made?
Be nice to get a 10/15 minute podcast, broken up into relevant chapters covering usual topics.

We should set one up and get people to contact us from resorts with updates...

Plenty of these type's of reviews on YouTube. Just search the resort you're looking for.

You'll need to Register first of course.

I look at nany on YT. They are more reviews as opposed to a "infomercial".
However I think what I am imagining is impossible.
I want a obecstop shop that distils this forum into 10 to 15 minutes....

@ado,
Steve Angus does regular video updates for Val d'Isere.
Most of the info you are looking for re airports, transfers, piste conditions is available via resort tourist information websites.

Ai - good Lord.
Feed it information.
Ask it to summarise and from that generate a podcast script and then generate the audio..

Not that anyone except me cares. But I did the AI thing for the resort of Sauze D'Oulx
The script generated is excellent. I could submit as a resort guide to be honest.
The AI audio is very, very robotic - no surprise there - but the rest is great.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

It may be just me, but why would anyone specifically prefer a podcast rather than just reading the information from the many places it will be available?
I've never listened to a podcast in my life, so clearly I just don't get them in general, but for something so fact-based like this it seems much less likely that you'll retain all of the information you're looking for.

True.
My concept is/was - I walk my dogs daily. I listen to many, many podcasts and would really enjoy some casual ski resort podcasts. However you are correct - something written and searchable is much more useful, and the visuals from YouTube are more compelling.
