Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski hire in Morzine

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Anyone can recomend good ski hire place in Morzine? It seems that a lot of places are affiliated with bigger "chains" like Intersport or Skimium and it is hard to figure out what skis they actually rent.

@alex_sauvage, I would , in general, avoid chains.

FB sports below the Pleney bubble and All Mountain Rental (may have changed name) on the rur du Bourg are good.

I always took people to Gravier Ski on Route du Telepherique - lets you store them overnight too.

I've used Hubert Sports, they're near the Super Morzine lift. Good kit, and they have ski lockers with boot warmers so you don't have to lug your kit round town.

Mainly due to location people I ski with tend to use Hubert Sport. Kit tends to be good quality with everything from SL through to powder skis available (if you ask - you'll tend to get 'standard', piste focused all mountain skis if you don't ask for somethign specific). Down side it while you're supporting a truely independent shop they can't match the prices of the volumn hire chains.

I've used Gravier ski on three occasions & can't fault their service.
