Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We're trying a new resort next year so looking for ski hire shop recommendations.
I'm party leader for about 10-12 people. We're staying at the Belambra Clubs "L'Orée des Pistes" hotel
The closest shop looks to be Brun sports but when I've done a basic ski hire package, their nearly double the cost with helmet etc
Going via google, there's Ekosport-rent La Skirie shop, about 4 mins walk away which looks ok. It's mainly for a large group of beginners
I've emailed Brun sports regarding a group discount but I can't see them dropping 25/30 percent
Thanks

I used the Ekosport Rent Les 2 Skis shop last year, it was very reasonably priced and the kit was all above average in terms of quality and condition. We were a group of 10 and everyone was happy. There's free shuttle buses around LDA that makes accessing the shops around most of the upper parts of the resort pretty quick and easy.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Think we used
skiset
slide planet when we went there. No issues. Pretty central to most things, close to jandri lift.
Cost wise I can’t remember, it was part of a Sunweb package.

Used them on four ski trips and have been great every time
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We used Hors Piste lat time but that’s right up the other end of the resort, close to the Diable.
Have a look on
Alpy
.com/skidiscount.co.uk and spec it up that way. We did it for a big group and it was simple and gave us a massive saving over going direct through the shop. Plus both those sites regularly had discount codes. If it’s for a group of beginners the they’re going to be less bothered about getting particular brands/types of kit.
