Might head out next weekend - do we think the snow will hang on? It looks pretty warm over there.

Raining in the town at the moment. Can't see where the rain snow limit is at present but looks higher than Bettex - hopefully not too high!

really good piste conditions when we left Les C on Sat - impeccable cover really, runs to resort in good shape. Off piste was tracked/refrozen slush so not that appealing but starting to go through nice freeze thaw cycles on sunnier aspects so should be nice spring snow this week. Believe there is a bit more snow in the forecast.

I’m over late next week, might catch the last weekend but TBH I’ve mentally moved on to summer thinking already

Fantastic wintery conditions in St Gervais Megeve today. Had to wrap up with more layers. The snow is fantastic, particularly for the end of March and most runs are open. There is plenty of great off piste and not much was getting skied. Looks cold next week with more snow on Monday. Heading home unfortunately though I see there is skiing at Glencoe

Frustrating. Decent end-of-season conditions and we have had to abandon ideas of another trip due to a mother-in-law crisis. Like @Jonny996 we will have to focus on the summer.

What are conditions like at the moment? Wondering about heading out next week to st Gervais /les contamines …
I have skied before in Saint Gervais in March and it was like water skiing in places in the sun..

@Snowysarah, ski'd in Les Houches today and everything except the very bottom to the Prarion gondola was really nice, St. Gervais will be very similar. You won't ski to the bottom of the Bettex but everything above the top of that will be fine for a week at least probs. Les Contamines will be great. Due to warm up considerably Fri/Sat though - although no forecast for the Chamonix valley has been remotely accurate from one day to the next in the just free days!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Snowysarah, Conditions next door are good and it is snowing right now but have you checked which lifts will be running next week?

Indeed, I think it is due to close on the 6th April.
Somebody said on another thread that the Princesse gondola closed today. I think also the Monts Rosset chair (the bottom of it is pretty low) and the lowest chairs in St Nicolas. I saw somewhere that the Mont Joly lifts were closed, though that might have been temporarily due to avalanche risk. Don't know about the Rochebrune ridge, the run to the Petite Fontaine lift ends up pretty low. And usually the whole Combloux sector closes a week earlier than everywhere else.
