The next visit to Milton Keynes Xscape will be Saturday 7th August. Put it in your diaries.
I get the impression people would also like a September trip.
The largest number of votes for September were (marginally, so far) for the 25th and that would spread the visits well.
However there is almost nothing in it and any special circumstances might be taken into account. For example people who cannot manage 7th  (and can only do certain of the dates in September); or people who are likely to bring someone with them who didn't get a vote. 
But do people actually want a third trip, and do people want to settle the date now?
Who is coming on the 7th August?
I think Michelle, homphomp, jonpim, Austin 7, Wear the Fox Hat, skanky, me (snowball) and who else? (kids? partners?)
As regards food I shall enquire how much it would cost to have hot food provided beside the slope (as the tobogganing group did while we were there last saturday). Personally I like the idea.
I shall then do a poll to see if people want it (and when: first? during?), or would prefer to eat together beforehand at ASK or elsewhere nearby. I should point out that the latter would take much longer.
Or a third possibility, we could bring food and have a mass picnic overlooking the slope (if they would allow that, they might not).
PS If you haven't voted in the poll then still do so for the sake of september dates.

Sorryaustin7, skimming over the old posts I missed your "not". 
So come in September, when you said you can come, and meanwhile we could meet up in 2 or 3 weeks on a weekday while the half pipe still exists and my wife is in Spain for a conference. (She doesn't ski and clases my ski videos as pornography. Some truth in that.)
Perhaps Fox might make it too.

I have discovered that we can order FOOD to be eaten overlooking the slope (as the toboggan party did last time) for £5.50 each, including a drink. The choice would be, as before, a chicken curry, chile con carne or a vegetarian pasta dish. (It looked quite good)
We could eat before skiing (perhaps 6.00 to ski at 7.00, when the slope reopens after grooming), or perhaps ski first and eat at 8.30 or 9.00; after which those who wish can continue to ski untill 11.00.
I shall put this on another thread. Could people please register if they want this food.
In case you did not come last time: the cost for skiing is £35.00 for 4 hours including ski and boot hire if required. (a special saturday evening offer called Phat Night).
2 hours costs the normal evening rate of £30.00)
Ski clothing (but not gloves) can be hired too.

Probably won't be, it depends how quickly it ages. Last week they planned to close at start of August. If they have to remake it before August they they will have to decide if they'll close it early or rebuild and stay open longer, or keep patching it till the end of July. I think it's the first indoor half pipe, at least in this country, so it's a bit experimental.
Unfortunately (b**ger, *@@***, @^^@@@) my wife, Cathy, pointed out last night that I agreed to go to a concert on the 7th with our niece. So I can't go.
However, having started to organise the food etc I'll carry on.
I'll just have to make do with a few stars on my report card and meet you all in September (assuming that happens).

Michelle, Not sure, got a few friends from Brighton who want to go up so trying to sort out a date. May also be on my mates 3rd stag do at the cricket at Old Trafford, but that could be the weekend after??? Also would rather go when the halfpipe was gone. I'll let you guys know though.
ps if someone asks you to do a questionare when you go to the Escape - do it and you'll get £5 off. So go into the Xscape area before paying for your "phat" night, get the discount and use it...............then try and blag another one for next time

alexpresland just put a post on the old Milton-Keynes June-visit-thread saying he wants to bring a load of South-coasters along on the 25th September, so I think, given that the 25th is already has the bigest vote that may seal it as the September date. (Sorry Pimettes and mountainmad, perhaps we could make a subsidiary visit for those like you (?))

Well, I think it may be the most popular but since the poll was just who was free on those dates and didn't say how many they were bringing and if they would still want to come if we had an August meet its not quite clear. And also there is the matter of those who couldn't manage August 7th.
