With just over three weeks to go until the 2026 treasure hunt starts, another teaser:
This year, the area they can be found will be in the Ski Amade, over two separate weeks, starting 17th January, and 7th February. So from 17th of January, there will be five clues put out over five days, and another over the week in February.
So if you fancy a bit of fun, not just 'Lift, ski to the next lift, lift, ski to the next lift, rinse and repeat', with the chance of a reward, and you're in the area, maybe this has piqued your interest!

As a geocacher I love a good treasure hunt, but you’re a week ahead of me into Ski Amadé.
I’m curious how long your treasures usually remain in place before they are claimed.
Do you think there’s any chance there might be one left by the time I get there?

If people find them, they're asked to put it on the FB page. There might be a chance that some might not be found for a while. There was one put out in the Ski Welt around Soll in January two years ago, and was found when someone was hiking there in the April! Others have never been reported as being found in The Arlberg, or in Andorra, and may still be out there. So, you never know!
