 Poster: A snowHead

Read a piece on the Serre Chevalier Grand Prix recently and wandered if any Snowheads have any experience of the event?
Is it any good and worth doing?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Markhandford, good go hear. I hadn't heard much about it previously. Was it a difficult course?

Is this the one that often falls a day after the SOPiBash? Think a few have stayed on an extra night to try it in the past.

There are 2 courses on the Grand Prix- one is mainly on piste with some short off piste sections.
The other requires avvy kit to be worn and carried and has a larger portion of offpiste terrain and some scrambling in boots.

It is, but has not coincided in recent years, I think last time it did was the Covid year, and it was cancelled. We partook in a rather splendid lunch (outside of course) as consolation for missing it just before Macron announced the lockdown. This coming season it is on March 21st.
