Just picked up from the SIGB newsletter that Finches in Forest Hill have had a fire, used them a few times and always a pleasure to go there.
"The SIGB community stands with Finches after the devastating fire that destroyed their much-loved Forest Hill store and home. Finches Emporium has been a cornerstone of the UK snowsport and outdoor scene for generations.
For anyone wishing to help, a GoFundMe page has been set up by friends of the shop. The team are also asking for your stories, your memories, and your pictures of Finches in action.
Our thoughts are with Angela, Frank, Brad, and the entire Finches team as they begin to rebuild."
If you want tp make a donation this is the link to the GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/e46ec31e3

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Very sad to hear. I had the opportunity to work with Frank three plus decades ago in the workshop and travelling the country to the ski shows-great fun. I hope the business is able to recover soon.
