 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I will be doing a season in Les Arcs, based in Bourg so getting funicular up the mountain every ski day. I did this last year for a month and took one or two tumbles walking from my residence to the funicular in my boots, and thus am looking for a ski locker either at the funicular (e.g., Intersport) or at the top at Arc 1600 where I can store my skis at night and my shoes during the day!
Intersport at the funicular charge EUR 7 per day, which over the course of a full season is a bit insane. Does anyone know if there's a seasonaire discount or has any tips?

I suppose it might be worth contacting them and asking for a discounted "Season Rate". Whether you get it may depend on demand (or whether you stuff from them).

@AlIre2024, is there parking by the funicular?
if so, as you would have a van (presumably you have use of it 24/7), could you not park there during the day and change when you get back after skiing?
if you (can) leave your skis and boots at the top of the funicular, this could affect you deciding on a whim to ski in another resort one morning, this would happen from time to time when i did seasons, sometimes it is nice to explore somewhere different.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Yes, but the parking charge would exceed the price of leaving your skis in a locker.

Wear trainers and stash em at the top or carry in a backpack.

@Dave of the Marmottes, this is my latest plan, as Intersport told me they are already full for seasonaires (BS).
Any tips on where to stash a pair of trainers at the top of the funicular? I’m thinking I could maybe pay a coffee shop to store them? I dont like skiing with a backpack

Cat-tracks on your boots. Will fit in a large pocket...

What about skiing off-piste?

@ski, I’m not that interested in off piste. This may change over course of the season.
At this point i’m leaning towards just leaving my street shoes in a plastic bag under the communal benches at the funicular and hoping for the best…or mane I can ask in Charly’s coffee shop if they can store em for a fee!
