I doubt you would be anxious or nervous on day 7 (or 6.45), probably confident after all that skiing, transfers are months away and can be worked out.

Rent a car for transport to/from Geneva, sleep in it the last night.
Come to think of it, whatever happened to that guy on here last year who was planning a week in Val Thorens, living in a car park his Tesla, with 2 toddlers?

There are plenty of places in Tignes you could have a nice meal and a civilised beer or five until well past midnight. You should find yourself with only a couple of (potentially very cold!) hours to kill. There is a very deep underground car park by the bus station which will keep the weather off for an hour or two!

@IhaveAchance, there will be a winter SNCF timetable from around early December. If you can find a 2024-5 version that might indicate if a later train is a possibility.

@IhaveAchance, late transfer to Geneva, couple of marathons around
the airport (or alongside the grand collider path). You can then have the whole of business class to yourself because if a stink. There you go, problem solved - cheap and fit, only benefits

@mooney058, the late transfer is what the OP is struggling to find. Any suggestions?

I doubt that all this efforts worth skiing second half of the day on destroyed pistes, also there is a chance that weather will be not that good.
If you really feel that after 6 days of skiing is not enough, may be worth considering 2 weeks skiing hols

@ed48, why would the pistes be "destroyed"?
There is always a chance the weather will not be good on any given day.
The point is always to maximise skiing time with the limit of one week off work.

Вecause of snowboarders obviosity, lol
I guess it depends, what skiing is for you. One searching for a quality of turns, 2-3h is more than enough. I guess for some full day is more essential. I personally dont take lunch breaks, from 1st chair lift, after full day of offpiste, 3pm is where I call it a day most often.

@ed48, no two days are the same. Sometimes the weather is overcast/snowy and then suddenly at 2/3 afternoon the sun comes out and you have the best 2 hours skiing.
You just need to max out your window of opportunity.

Destroyed? Saturdays tend to be the quietest day of the week on the slopes in Espace Killy.

Cheapest flights on 28th are later in the day to LGW, no idea where you're going.
Bus downhill after skiing, train from BSM to somewhere half way to GVA, stay the night in an airbnb for not very much, continue to GVA following morning.

Scheduled bus in the evening from Tignes to Bourg St Moritz, then cheap hotel? Shorter transfer to the airport would give you a bit more sleep and be a bit cheaper, partly offsetting the cost of the hotel

Probably froze to death and Tesla is sitting ni a Val Thorens car park with bodies inside somewhere.

Actual first lift to 1.30pm with only a quick coffee stop is still a decent day. Have lunch on the 2.30 bus and find a cheap hotel/explore Geneva

A quick Google found Alpy Transfers (whoever they are) will sell your a shared transfer to Geneva, leaving Tignes at 0340 on a random Sunday morning in January.
|
I highly doubt they will actually sell you a transfer at 3h40... I've been stung by that before with late landing flights and it appearing like you can get a shared transfer, but when you try to book it will tell you only private at £££££££ is available..
