Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

WANTED: Twin Tip Skis

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi - I’m looking for a set of cheap twin tip skis.

In terms of length I’d want minimum 178. Underfoot can be discussed I guess.

Based in South West London - hoping I don’t have to travel more than about an hour.

Thanks

@harryshredda, welcome to snowheads. If you want cheap cheap, then I have a pair of Movement Gladiator 183 twin tips from circa 2008, 92mm underfoot

Slight issue is I'm in the north west of England (just outside Stockport on the edge of the Peak District) but as I was planning to ask £75 ono, postage might bring the price to an acceptable total.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@nbt, hi mate, what boot size is the binding mounted to and are they center mounted? For something that old I think I’d be looking for a fraction of that price though…

I haven't used them in 10 years, so I may be hazy on specifics

>what boot size is the binding mounted to

the bindings were mounted before I bought them (on here, from "the doc" I think who sold them as he was in the process of founding WhiteDot skis) so I'm not entirely sure. I think when I did use them, my boots were mondo size 26 and BSL was 307mm. New boots have a much shorter BSL (293) so the bindings are too big, hence they've not been used in a a while. A mate did have a look at them but he had a BSL of 321 that mean the bindings were too small. I'm pretty sure they're mounted in the standard position.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

well this is a bit odd. I'm trying to post images but they don't appear to show, perhaps due to css? Puzzled

Hi bud, I think I will leave them as I will probably have to get them remounted anyways - thanks for the effort though!
