I've got a pair of Planks peacemaker gloves that to be blunt, smell rotten!
The tab with washing instructions has worn away completely and Planks don't reply to any emails for advice (beware if you're considering a purchase)...
They look like leather but this is the materials listed on the website - TPU palm / 46% recycled polyester outer fabric / Polyester lining / Recycled Fellex insulation
What are my options for freshening them up?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@damanpunk, I thought Planks were deceased (hence no response).
quick wash in the machine should do it.

As they're not leather, you probably won't do them much harm with a gentle hand wash. If they have removable liners, pull those out and chuck them (the liners) in the washer on a gentle cycle. If not, turn them inside-out and hand wash with some mild detergent (I usually use Ecover Wool liquid or Nikwax TechWash) in cool-ish water. Don't leave them soaking for too long. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You would think so but they send me weekly emails trying to get me to buy their leftover tat! Some it might be cheap and it might arrive, but I wouldn't fancy trying to get a warranty issue resolved...

Thanks all I've ordered some Grangers Odour Eliminator spray, will give that a try before going down the machine wash route. Needed a spray anyway as some of the smell has leached onto my helmet as I throw them in the same bag

@damanpunk, naw, just throw them in the machine, 15 min cycle if you have one, 30 degrees and slow or no spin.

That should be fine - after all, they can presumably cope with getting wet. And if they can't, throw them in the bin instead.

Products like this https://fabfinds.co.uk/products/grannys-original-soap-flakes-fragrance-free-425g or liquid labelled as "soap flakes" are ideal for non invasive cleaning.
Technically:- they reduce surface tension of water along with low heat, should allow the "rogue" element to be more completely dissolved to enable washing out afterwards.
Method:- make a mix in body temp water, put the gloves in to soak for a day, then wash/rinse in machine with emphasis on rinsing to migrate all parts out in clearing the fabric.
That's quite a well established routine to washing out stray unwanted components embedded in them, usually to get measured final washout down to parts per million "ppm" in final result.

Thanks all, a lot of really helpful comments! Next question will probably be what’s a nice mitt to replace them with instead after they fall to bits!!

Presumably the would be the administrators trying to get rid of remaining stock and recover funds for creditors as opposed to the original company?
As others have said, pop them in the washing machine . Mine go in with my ski jacket, ski trousers, etc.

Half a bottle of white vinegar in each glove, rinse & allow to dry.
