Couldn't help spotting this interesting quote from a British plastic slope user:

Absolutely. If you're going to have sex with a carpet, at least make sure it's pure wool (that's not a sheep joke, by the way)

.Am I just silly, or does anyone else not like this idea. I like the changing seasons with different outdoor activities. Though I moan with everyone else, I think the long wait between ski seasons, and then the desperate need to pack in as much skiing as possible in just 4 months adds to the whole experience. Anyone else?

PG, aren't all US skiers now doing gnarley things with surf and skateboards for the next six months? Or do the films exaggerate things slightly?

David Goldsmith, surely that's where shag-pile got it's name? Wooden floors have gotten more popular since carpet bagging got a bad name.

There is always good & bad to any carpet sex session - you've got to go in knowing the injuries possible. You're going to come away with some sort of burns. Knee pads and elbow pads are good forms of PPE but the "moment" tends to get lost while putting them on so you accept the "burn".
Now if i was Swiss Tony, "Making love to a beautiful woman on carpet is just like dry slope skiing........................." I'll leave the rest of you to fill in the blanks.
