Shame the one in Aime is closing- ironically always cheaper to click and collect to buy a couple of sledges for the kids rather than hiring up the mountain!

It was already in the old (previous) Weldom shop during the summer on the same site as the SuperU and Intersport

Aww that got me all excited but reading down I see it's for the full Paradiski pass, we only really need the La plagne essentials pass having been to Les arcs twice before and staying in aime 2000.
I'll have a look anyway but I'm wondering if the lesser passes are discounted at black Friday? I could have sworn this last winters Les arc essentials pass went on sale at some point.

Does it work ok to order these discount passes from La Plagne ticket office if staying in Les Arcs? Would be a little nervous that if there was an issue with one of the passes on the first day would we be able to get it sorted in Les Arcs. Is there likely to be a similar offer through Les Arcs ticket office?

@Mixedbag, Les Arcs is already issuing a 15% discount on the first week of the season. Flash sales happened every now and then from the Les Arcs website as well last year.
@Lowrom, the Les Arcs essentials pass gives access to La Plagne. I do not know what the La Plagne names are.

But 40% off a Paradiski pass will still be cheaper than a La Plagne only pass. Possibly even cheaper than an Essentials pass? You don't HAVE to go to Peisey / Les Arcs with a Paradiski pass!

In previous years I think the early discounts were fixed, and available in any week so they seem to have realised they don't have to be as generous. By removing all of French half-term and the weeks either side. And I guess the discounts will either be higher for the less popular weeks, or will reduce as people take up the offer until they have achieved their target pre-season cashflow.

I brought our les arcs essential passes in last years sale in September and saved a good 40%. It basically worked out cheaper to buy 2 adults and 1 child essential pass than just buying the standard les arcs pass at normal price.

Anyone else trying to buy ski passes which the link above (now taken down) had said was due to start midnight 18 Sept. I read that as start of 18/9 not the end, so 11pm UK time. The prices have shown all day. 20% discount showing for my week w/c 15 March 26 and I can add to cart for my participants but at that point the option "Validate my cart" is greyed out. I imagine this means the sale of passes hasn't been enabled yet but was worried in case there was an issue with my account.
Has anyone actually bought passes for this winter yet. Let me know if you have any success. I'm off to bed and will try again in the morning.

I can't now see the "I buy online" box that was there last night so can't even search to add to basket. I think it was under Skipass-laplagne..weekly passes...scrolled down some way below the table of prices and clicked on it but not there now. Anyone else struggling with this?

I responded to the promotional email and got a 6.5 day Paradiski family ski pass (2 kids and 2 adults) with insurance for 950 Euros w/c 13 Dec.
I am thoroughly confused whether this was in fact a good price and / or whether I got the 40% discount offered!
I paid north of 1000 Euros last Easter so hopefully got a good price

@Sasha320320, by my calcs you got 40% off the lift pass price (but they didn't also take off the 25 Euros for Pack Famille) and then the insurance was added on.
Adult: 401 x 2 = 802
Kids 321 x 2 = 642
Total = 1444
x 0.6 = 866.4
Insurance 3.50 per day per person = 84
866.4 + 84 = 950.4

Slight tangent, has anybody managed to go on the piste basher excursion / tour?
I’ve seen it advertised in La Plagne and tried to contact / buy tickets but with no success.
Are there any hacks to getting onboard one whilst it is working?
I sense my sons and I could spend hours in a piste basher one night, whilst my wife shakes her head in disbelief as she wanders off to bed!

@rdsweb, not for me it's not! And actually they seem to have cocked up the map as the camera icons are now in the wrong place on the map too
Wish they would get a camera back up and running down in Bellecote again - although I suspect it suits not to have the lift queues visible on webcams maybe?
