Not sure if anyone has done this before, but I would be interested in swapping our ski apartment in Chamonix for a week or so for something similar in any skiing areas. We love Chamonix and have had our property there for over 30 years (it's had several renovations in that time) but we would like to occasionally ski somewhere that is easier on the old knees! 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, sleeps 5-6 people. Thanks for the recommendation - I had looked at some of the home exchange sites, but there are so many, so couldn't decide which one to use.

Homelink was the original home swap organisation formed 70 years ago and you just have to exchange your home with somebody else on the site. However, there are not too many places in the Alps on there.
Home exchange was made famous by the film 'Holiday' starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslett, Jude Law and Jack Black.
It now has plenty of accomodation in ski resorts as well as most places around the World and has a useful feature called guest points which is described in detail on the site.
