Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cool Runnings Transfers French Alps

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
A positive review of our private transfer from GVA to Les Arcs 1800 earlier this month with Cool Runnings. We were a group of four adults with one case and one ski bag each. Our driver met us at arrivals on time, was kind in offering to lug bags (we declined as happy to carry our own) and we had a really smooth safe and timely trip around the north banks of Lake Annecy arriving in resort in great time.
Pick up in 1800 was easy too, I dropped a Google map with pin by text to the driver indicating where we would be and he rocked up bang on time. Took a different route back to GVA via south banks of lake Annecy as there was a bit of hold up on the usual route. Dropped us at departures in plenty of time to checkin.
Communication was excellent throughout with confirmation emails and text messages providing the drivers number to speak with on the day. Price was good and competitive at £400 return total so just £100 each for a private round trip in a nearly new minivan.
Most of the drivers are Greek and speak good English and French. I will definitely look to use them again based on this experience and confident to recommend them on SH’s.

Unbelievably cheap! Hard to see how they make anything at that cost. The Altibus costs more to Bourg

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I had a one way transfer with them when I had to curtail my last trip and I agree with your post, I found them excellent.

Just a thought re the price, I wonder if it was cheaper as we travelled Friday to Friday rather than the standard weekend transfers. Fortunately we had an apartment with flexibility on arrival day, this was the last weekend of the French school holidays (7th March). The benefits of quieter airport, roads and resort that first two days was significant by travelling out very early Friday morning.
Either way they were great and recommended if you can make it work for you.

Another positive review for them. Used them twice for GVA to Les Menuires and GVA to Tignes and they were excellent

I read this elsewhere before, apparently it started with one Greek taxi driver who then told his friends and now it's primarily Greek guys. In winter they stay in cheaper areas of resorts as they have no interest in skiing or Apres ski and thus are very reliable, then in summer are taxiing in Greece again. No idea how true it is but sounds like it'd make sense!

I couldn't fault them, was a very smooth transfer and the driver was very polite.

That’s pretty much what our driver told us. Many are based in Moutiers as home from home so they have good access to the main airports and resorts.

Used them a couple of times and highly recommend. Didn't use them for last trip to VDI as they simply could not meet our flight times (already committed) - the fact they were up front about it is another plus for me. After trying a few other companies who were in a similar situation we ended up going with 3Valley-Transfers.com who don't crop up in searches here at SH...so was a little nervous about them. However, comms, service and flexibility when EJ changed some of our parties return flight times was absolutely A1 - and given our experience no reservations about recommending either of them.

Fantastic transfers with them back in January

I was stressing over the chance that I was signing an open ended cheque if the flight was delayed - adhd overthinking

Spoke to them and was totally reassured they would try their utmost to accommodate any schedule changes and knowing about my anxiety they kept in touch with me on the day. Very impressed.

Ironically flight arrived early and because I’d built in an extra 45 minutes just in case we had to wait but that wasn’t an issue - I’d rather we were waiting did the driver than they were waiting for us.

i recommended them to a friend who was with us last easter for a midweek transfer from VT to Lyon, after seeing all the good reports on snow heads, they were impressed with both the service and cost.
