UCPA Family week Flaine April 5-12 Holiday for 2 adults, 1 child 6-11 and a 3 year old with everything included (accommodation, ALL food, lift pass, skis and boots, half time lessons for all including club piou piou for 3 year old) - £2496. We can't go as 6yo son just broke his wrist. Amazing value and fantastic week, we are struggling to find a replacement family due to short notice.. went last year and was amazing, gutted to not be going. it's only £1500 max cancellation cover, so may end up going for that.

+1 my insurances have all been max value per person, so £1500 for family of 4 = £6000

It's possible insurance may not pay out if the 6YO is still able to travel (but just not ski). Of course if he's got a medical 'can't fly/travel' letter then insurance would be no issue, but they can be funny about what is actually covered. Maybe (hopefully) this isn't the case, but definitely worth trying to see if someone else can take the holiday so there are options available.
Also echoing others though that if they do pay out, it should be £1500 pp (although the excess is payable pp too).
