Does anyone have a recommendation for a boot fitter in La Plagne

Husband has two significant bruises and calf pain

I think it’s worth seeing someone while we are out here - we have a car so can go to any of the resorts

So no surprise- his boots are too big, especially round the calves so he’s hired smaller ones for tomorrow to see how it goes

Any suggestions for reducing the calf volume in his current boots?

We are a bit confused because there is a calf adjustment which the fitter said was set at the widest setting but said he didn’t think
making them narrow would help as the boots were too big - but surely it would help a bit until he buys new boots?

Thanks everyone - we saw a recommendation on an old thread for Elpro and as it was only minutes away we visited last night and saw elliot - he said husbands boots are way too big so he sorted him out with a hire pair for today

The first run was agony so we went back and he changed them - and while we were waiting I spoke to Simon about my boots - as my 30 yr old comformable footbeds literally disintegrated last night when I took the inners out to apply more diy padding. He took one look and said that he thought he could improve them a lot.

So tonight he ripped off all my diy padding, new custom foot beds, new padding in a different place and they feel much better

Then he looked at hubbies - said not a lot he can do with them as they are two sizes too big - he started by putting a temporary arch support in but after discussion he made him custom footbeds and padded the area on the calf that was hurting and said when he gets new boots he can cut the footbeds to fit the smaller boots

Was very impressed with his attitude and service - for info custom footbeds were 99 euros each and I paid 50 euros for the fitting service
